We have been to Egypt 13 times now twice to the Rixos this being the best, staff fantastic , food fantastic Internet fantastic, premium drinks fantastic,restaurants fantastic . We came out in January for two weeks loved the Hotel and staff so much we have just been back for a week . Omg ! We thought the staff were fantastic the 1st time but 2nd we had hugs handshakes and the bigs smiles I’ve ever seen . The pool team remembering the sun lounges we like to lie on making love harts for my wife and I . Mohammed in the restaurant Remembering our drinks even running to get things wow this guy is first class !! Wish we had more like him in England . Restaurant managers outstanding too . Rixos 10 out of 10 you should be proud of your team . Well done !! We will be back …

Lovely Hotel, wonderful staff…..but!

Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. This is truly a beautiful place for a holiday. We are here for the second time and we are booked to return in October. The real hero’s are the staff, from the gardeners who keep the stunning grounds, the attentive pool team and the wonderful restaurant and bar staff. But there is one issue that needs to be addressed and it’s serious. As an English guest we and others feel we are being profiled and pushed to the back of the queue. ‘Other’ nationalities are being given preferential treatment and no where is this more obvious than in the booking of the A la Carte Restaurants. The system needs to urgently change to a digital 1st come 1st served basis. It is openly discussed that the current booking system, run by Yana, clearly prioritises those from ‘certain’ countries. You do not have to be a genius to realise it is NOT the British or any other Western countries. We love this hotel and will return as planned but this issue needs to be addressed quickly!

We had amazing time at this 5 ⭐️ hotel. Special people who are working at resort. Food, drinks, pool kids club and everything else was perfect. Restaurants a la carte they were another level (The Mangal , People’s and Salt). It was for us first time but surly not the last and can’t wait till come back again.

Christmas 2023 getaway..

Booked for Christmas. Amazing hotel. Everything about this place is fabulous. Room set up was ideal for a family of 4. A La Carte restaurants were in a hi Dave and we practically ate in a different restaurant every night. Drinks were premium and the entertainment was also pretty awesome. Shout out for DJ Fela who was awesome. Entertainment pool was our preferred place for sharing the day. Shout for many who made our holiday very special indeed.

Standards not as good as last year but still highly recommended

We stayed at the rixos premium seagate last year and found it faultless. This year we returned and still had a fabulous stay but do feel standards have slipped and maybe a review like this will help bring it back up again. Last year we stayed up by reception, the location was perfect for us and our little ones. This year with plenty of notice we respectfully requested a similar area, sadly this was just ignored and we were placed down closer to the beach in block 20. No issue with the room other than one day we returned to find the cleaner had not shut the door after service and anyone could have walked in while we were away but thankfully all was ok. This location caused us issues with our little one getting to sleep of a night time as the noise from the entertainment literally bellowed through the room. After a few nights we spoke to reception and the area we requested was available and we could have been placed where we requested they just chose not to bother, poor service for returning guests. I found the pool areas to be the area of most slipped standards, the top lagoon pool had far too much debris from the surrounding trees and after a week of being here I can’t say I saw anyone cleaning the debris or the other debris such as tissues floating. Next slipped standard would be there didn’t appear to be anyone cleaning the surface lines of the pools, scum lines all round and also tiles in places coming away and need attention, especially by the pool bar by the lagoon pool. Next slipped standard from last year cleanliness of sun beds and tables, they need a good clean and we just didn’t witness this once during our stay. Next would be the pool side area, beds need all moving out and a good jet wash of the areas, instead there were regularly wooden spoons from the ice cream under the beds for days on end which should be picked up on by way of a daily sweep/ clean. This review is a little critical being compared to last year but still highly recommend you stay. Huge pros All staff can’t do enough for you Food, faultless and plentiful so much choice and so so nice. In particular the steak restaurant by the beach, this is an absolute must book. Amazing cuts of steak lamb chicken prawns all cooked to absolute perfection and second must book is the bbq restaurant on the beach, we were lucky enough to have Chef Salah cook for us again as he did last year. Rixos please just pick your game up around the pools and get back up to faultless standards that we had last year
